April 2013 - Join a Medical Team Working w/ Haitian Baptist Convention

April 6-13, 2013         WAYS (Workdays for Adults and Youth in Service)
is organizing a medical team to offer basic care clinics in five schools, orphanages and churches in the Port au Prince area.   Medical personnel (a copy of your license will be required), medical students, student nurses and physician's assistants are welcome to share skills that fit within these basic clinics.

6TH FINGERS COULD BE EASILY REMOVED BY SURGERY

Connections are possible with local hospitals for surgical care. Let us know if you'd like to explore that option.

 

THERAPY AIDS LEARN SKILLS TO HELP CLIENTS

Nurse Educators are welcome to offer workshops for the newly opening School of Nursing and Pediatric therapists are welcome to work in our 2 partner centers for physically handicapped children - part of that time would be training the Therapy Aids at the centers.

Join a medical team. Help build a Chicken Farm.  Share your pediatric therapeutic skills with physically handicapped children.  Offer workshops in a newly opening nursing school.  Help provide medicines for church based health providers; following up on medical needs for parishioners in 5 Baptist Churches. Provide vitamins for an orphanage or day school. Help provide food for an orphanage of 100 children.
